Important: In-app account deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no grace period or recovery window.
How to delete your account (in-app)
- Open the PointClub app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap "Delete Account".
- Read the warnings, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the red "Delete my account" button.
Alternative - can't access the app
Email support@pointclub.pk from the email address registered on your PointClub account, with subject "Delete my account". Our team will verify ownership and process the deletion within 7 business days.
What gets permanently deleted
- Your name, email, phone number, and profile photo.
- All loyalty card enrollments.
- Push notification subscriptions and device tokens.
- Google Wallet and Apple Wallet passes.
- Punch card progress.
- Promotion redemption history.
- Audience / cohort memberships.
What is retained, and why
- Transaction records - Pakistani tax law, merchant billing contracts, and financial audit requirements require merchants to retain transaction history (date, amount, points earned/redeemed) indefinitely. Your transactions will remain with the merchant for their records, but they will no longer be linked to your name, email, or phone number - they will show as "Deleted User".
- Audit logs - Security audit events referencing your account ID are retained for 90 days, then purged.
- Billing aggregates - Merchant billing counters (monthly totals) are retained indefinitely; they do not contain personal information.
Can I come back?
Yes. You can create a new account with the same email address after deletion. Your old transactions will remain with the merchants but will not be linked to your new account.
